Interview
Jan Herm, do you believe in world peace and where does this belief come from?
Yes, I do. From a very young age, I have struggled with injustice. World peace has to do with resolving injustice. If we treat everyone equally, then there will be world peace.

Do you have any idea how we can achieve this?
By all thinking and acting on the basis of equality and respect. By recalibrating everyone's inner compass. From this inner moral compass, we have already taken the biggest step towards peace.
Do you believe we can inspire people to join the programme?
Yes, through a specific programme for intrinsically motivated people. Without intrinsic motivation, it won't work. The more people participate, the faster we will achieve our goal. It is important that we get the flywheel moving and keep it moving.

Will you be participating in the Global Peace Building Programme yourself?
Yes. Otherwise, I would not have joined the Global Serendipity Foundation.

What is your intrinsic motivation for participating?
I want to eliminate inequality and make the world a safe and pleasant place for everyone. For the people living today and for the people of all future generations.

Have you already made the uncompromising paradigm shift yourself?
I'm somewhere in between. In some ways, I still exhibit roundabout knight behaviour. I do believe that I can get rid of my roundabout knight behaviour.
Why do you believe in me, my approach, my programme and my role as a trainer?
You don't come with booklets telling people what to do. You come with an approach where everyone walks their own personal path to become who they already are, in other words, to rediscover and reconnect with their own hidden self.

What is your role in accelerating the realisation of world peace?
My personal role is very practical. Making the foundation successful and supporting you in your role as trainer, chairperson and figurehead in the realisation of world peace. And in inspiring people around me to recalibrate their personal compass.

What is your tip for others?
Stop talking about world peace and start realising world peace. Do this in the way that suits you best. We have already started and are now moving forward in leaps and bounds. Proper preparation is half the battle!
